Infrared underfloor carbon heating film system.

The ideal solution for heating wood or laminate floors!  Infrared Underfloor Heating.

The radiant heating system saves you 25 to 40% less than traditional heating methods and is healthier for you and your family. Easily installed under the floor, our infrared subfloor is completely ductless and maintenance free. This infrared heating technology does not waste energy to heat the air in a room, but directly heats objects and people. Carbon thermal film is a cost-effective, high-quality heating solution for any building. Electrical current is passed through carbon bands to naturally create far infrared rays that distribute heat safely and evenly. The infrared floor provides a healthier atmosphere by not circulating dust or pollutants from the air.

Installed under the floor and completely concealed, the subfloor is designed for areas where it is not possible to install infrared panels where valuable wall space is needed or common areas, where the wall panels may be damaged. The Ecosource subfloor is extremely thin and durable. Unlike other electric floor heating products, our carbon fibers do not break easily during installation and are sealed in their own moisture-proof barrier. Semiconductor technology does not have any moving parts to machine – it does not require any maintenance.

Our carbon heating film is ideal for installation under wood or laminate flooring. It is also a popular choice under carpets and vinyl floors when combined with a plywood overlay.

With respect to wood floors, you have two choices of an engineered hardwood floor that is recommended. The latter can be installed “floating” or paste. If you wish to use a classic 3/4 “thick solid floor, it is recommended that an oiled hardwood floor be installed, fully bonded.

The heated subfloor is only 0.5 mm thick so it has a negligible effect on the height of the floor. The film is usually laid on our 6 mm floor insulation (which replaces the standard floor underlayment) to give minimal effect on the height of your floor – less than 6.5 mm! This makes it ideal for use in new buildings and renovations where floor height is generally critical. All underfloor heating systems must be controlled thermostats and floor probes.

Heat Production – The film is designed as a heating system (not just the floor heating) and gives a uniform thermal coverage of the entire floor. It is offered in 800mm two out of power 220w per m2 for any heating.

Supplied as a kit, this underfloor heating system is ready to install, with a complete carbon film, a waterproof bag and 2 meter cables.

Simple to install – Installing this underfloor heating is simple and can be done by anyone with the most basic DIY skills, however an electrician needs to make the connection. It is simple to work with the subfloor and it can even be cut on the spot if necessary by following the dots to the desired length, just put an insulating tape on the copper duct bar, the width is according to that select and can not be cut off.

Quality – The heating film is manufactured to the highest standards and comes in kit form. It has been used around the world for many years. It is extremely reliable and comes with a manufacturer’s standard warranty of 15 years, but should last a lifetime!

Digital Control – Control of the heating system is via a simple-to-use, fast-action digital thermostat that has a 7-day / 24-hour battery life with built-in timer. The thermostat is unobtrusive and takes the same space as a standard light switch and is available separately.

Note: For other floor coverings, the film may be covered with plywood followed by the actual floor covering (ceramic, carpet or vinyl)
