Heat pumps (Air-water heat pump)

Eco-friendly water heating system that uses heat pump technology that works by collecting heat from the outside air.

Why a heat pump (heat pump)?

The heat pump system absorbs the free energy of the atmosphere and requires only 1 KW of electricity to generate 3 to 5 KW of thermal energy.

Advantages:

  • Less CO2 emissions
  • Clean and healthy
  • Easy installation and maintenance
  • Energy saving up to 30%
  • Superior heating capacity
  • Speed up the heating / cooling time
  • Automatic frost protection technology in sleep mode
  • Safe operation in all conditions
  • Intelligent defrost
Description

The interest of heat pumps (Air-water heat pump)

This system does not constitute a renewable energy because it needs an external power supply to function. That said, this operation creates more energy than it consumes and therefore allows for significant savings. The heat pump installed with an economical solar or thermodynamic water heater, the low energy house is at your fingertips! By adding photovoltaic solar panels on the roof of your home or a wind turbine in the garden, the positive energy house is also accessible!

The principle of the heat pump is to extract energy to the outside to inject it inside by means of a radiator with water, a floor heating. A heat pump is a means of heating that replaces for example the gas boiler or pellet stove.

What is a heat pump?

The heat pump is a thermodynamic device that recovers the heat contained in the air, earth or water, elements present in nature, to transfer it, through transformations of a refrigerant, inside of a dwelling to heat it and sometimes produce hot water. The reversible heat pump, in addition to the heat in winter, also produces cold summer (air conditioning). The air-water heat pump extracts the heat from the air and uses it to heat the house, via a water circuit. This system may be ideal for a floor heating system or water heaters.

Why opt for an air-water heat pump?

We choose the air-water heat pump mainly to equip existing homes with an ecological energy system. Indeed, in case of renovation, install a geothermal heat pump is often impossible. A heat pump that draws heat from the air is a good solution because it does not require drastic changes, such as drilling a well. An air-water heat pump has the advantage of being easily installed and generating low installation costs.
